Amy & Micah | Sneak Peek

If you could pray for a perfect fall day, you might ask for beautiful autumn colors (at their peak), a splash of warmth in the air, cool blue skies, and cozy sunlight. Well, if Amy and Micah asked for the perfect fall day - their prayers and petitions were heard. And their requests were fulfilled, overflowing. It couldn't have been a more perfect, splendid autumn day for a wedding.
Filled with families anxious to come together, friends beaming with excitement and a bride and groom overcome with joy at the prospect of spending their lives together. I don't know about you - but I am not sure I could have designed a better day. Enjoy this peek at Amy and Micah's lovely Raleigh, North Carolina wedding. I can't wait to share more!

I know I say it often, but I really couldn't be any happier for two people to marry than I am for Ali and Trevor. It was really a joy getting to spend this day with them - their love for each other is radiant and I couldn't help my self but just soaking it in.

Kara and Marshall are two people you just want to be around. I always love when clients become friends and I'm crossing my fingers I'll get another chance to be around them together sometime.
Their wedding day was so peaceful and calm, yet full of excitement and anticipation. They were perfectly focused on what mattered;
each other,
their marriage,
and the amazing time they'd have with all the people they love so much.

It won't take you much time perusing my blog to know that I love my job. I adore being around couples in love, capturing their unique romance and creating memories for a lifetime. It's not an exaggeration to say that I thoroughly enjoy every session to the point that I've never left one without a smile on my face.
I love LOVE.
But oh my. Talk about raising my excitement level exponentially when the people in love are people whom I love. Micah is my husband's brother and Amy his counter part, who I never knew was missing until the moment I saw them together.
It didn't take us in the family very long to know how special Amy was to Micah and we are beyond thrilled to welcome her into the Ward troupe this fall.
We had a lovely time together on the rocky beaches of Fort Fisher, North Carolina. It was the perfect canvas to color with their love.
In these images you will see two people who bring each other joy and it brings me joy to share them with you. I feel so blessed and privileged to serve Amy and Micah as clients, but abundantly more so to have them as family.

Love is like the wind. You can't see it...but you sure can feel it.
James and Marie's wedding was just a bit breezy. In fact, the most wind I've seen in this area apart from a hurricane.
Maybe the wind was simply trying to match the force of love at this wedding.
