After a tumultuous week, I am beyond excited to share a few photos from Jenny and Kyle's wedding last weekend.  I can say I thoroughly had a wonderful time photographing their day and I am so excited to get to work on editing all of their photos.  The day itself couldn't have been a better backdrop for their wedding - perfectly blue skies, sixty-five degree weather, abundant sunshine, and friends & family overflowing with love for Jenny and Kyle.

I can already tell there are going to be so many beautiful photos to share from this day, but I just couldn't keep you waiting any longer!

{Merry Christmas to all and to all, a good night!}

A perfect D.C. Sunday afternoon, a lovely couple newly engaged, deeply in love...could I ask for anything more?  I had a grand time photographing these two. We visited Montrose Park to find a sweet spot Larin and Patrick found the weekend before - beautifully aged stone steps leading up to a wrought iron gate - fabulous find! Next we spent time in the gardens at Dumbarton Oaks.  If you ever find yourself in the District looking for a beautiful way to spend an afternoon, I strongly suggest visiting this locale. Between the terraces, lawns and the appropriately named Lovers' Lane Pool we had no problem finding those perfectly romantic spots to settle in and capture some great photographs.  Finally we headed down to the Potomac as the sun set between the willow trees.

Larin and Patrick -I wish you all the best as you plan your wedding a prepare for marriage together! Your love for each other makes my heart swell and it brings me joy that I got to capture these photos for you.  I can't wait until your wedding day - although, I must not forget the Kleenex...I know I'm going to need it!

You may have seen a photo or two of this couple floating around the blog. . .Jenny & Kyle, that is.  And "Jenny & Kyle" they have always been to me - since I met them as a pair back in my sophomore year of college! Jenny was my Life-guarding  instructor, and Kyle was also another one of her pupils in the class.  They have always been a fun couple and it was great to reconnect after a few years!

We had a good (hot!) time during their engagement shoot back in June and I am happy to share a few photos from that session on the new blog.  Jenny & Kyle are double Mercer University grads (undergrad + currently in law & med schools, respectively = geniuses) so of course we had to visit campus in addition to some great spots in downtown Macon, Georgia.

"Jenny & Kyle" I feel so privileged to get to capture your wedding day! I know it will be a day so full of love. . .I can't wait!
