Ali & Trevor | Wedding

If you were to ask me to name some one who was genuinely kind, happy and adventurous I would very quickly name Trevor or Ali. If you asked me to name someone else, whichever I didn't say first would be the latter. I couldn't think of two people who are more authentically kind and loving. Full of passion for life and finding adventure. They go together without question.

They had such a beautiful day at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. The rain chased their day to no avail, the sun shone down perfectly on their ceremony and it seems the rain missed us by minutes every time! Ali and Trevor wed under a beautiful, handmade arbor that Trevor crafted from bamboo. I loved how they incorporated little touches of that special aspect into the day; you'll see their centerpieces standing in bamboo shoots and even tiny sugar crafted bamboo shoots on their cake!

I loved getting to be a part of this day. Trevor and Ali's love for each other is so authentic and real. The best part of the day was after the ceremony, seeing just how happy they were; not about the decor, or  the ceremony or the (awesome) party that was about to ensue - but they were so happy to have secured their futures to one another. They were just so happy to be wed.

That joy - found in marriage - is why I do what I do. I capture the first moments. I capture the beginning. The history to family stories. And they all begin with love.
